As part of its vision to support the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations, CIGS intends to provide economically viable and socially relevant solutions in the areas of inclusive banking, healthcare and education in India, in partnership with eligible entities.
CIGS is operating in over 19,000 villages across 27 states. CIGS has successfully created bank accounts for over 4 million customers. Over 5000 Crores (> US$800 million) worth of transactions happen through CIGS every year.
CIGS in partnership with eligible entities offer their services through Digital centres in semi urban and rural locations. The services includes Banking & Financial, Assisted Commerce, Insurance, Bill Payments and Government to Citizen services.
Commonwealth Inclusive Growth Foundation (“CIGF”) is a not for profit organisation (Sec 8 company). CIGF provides not for profit services related to Financial Literacy, Implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects such as Education & Skills training, Affordable Healthcare, Innovation in Agricultural services.
CIGF is aligned to the Sustainable Development Goals of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
